SAP Cost centers

Cost centers are used to track where cost occur in the organization.
As costs are incurred, they are assigned or posted to the appropriate cost center.
The posting and assignment of costs to cost centers is a critical step in using the CO module.


Cost centers are organized in a Standard Hierarchy.
The Cost Center Standard Hierarchy is used to structure the cost centers in an organization.
All cost centers must be entered in the Standard Hierarchy.

To display the standard hierarchy follow the menu path:
Accounting ->Controlling ->Cost Center Accounting ->Master data ->Standard Hierarchy ->Display



Then enter the controlling area code and hit "enter" button.


The following screen will be appeared



Simple example of cost centers is distribution of rental fee to several cost centers in G/L

Enter current date in SAP transaction

1. On the date field press "F4" key to call up the calender

The following calender will be shown

2. Then Press "F2" key to select today's date.

The date will be inserted in the date field

SAP SD VF11 Cancel Billing Documents

SAP SD VF11 Cancel Billing Documents


1. Go to SAP Tcode VF11

or path :Logistics -> Sales and Distribution

-> Billing -> Billing document -> Cancel



2. Save to cancel the document.

3.Or If you want to display document (VF03) first, Click "Glass" button

4. Click "Document billing overview" button for checking original billing document & cancel document



5. Click Split analysis button to display detail fields.

Remarks :A Billing Document that has been sent to a customer must not be cancelled.

A further Credit memo must be created in these cases.

2. Enter Billing document you wish to display.


3. Overview of the sales document


4. To check lit of Document in Accounting click "Accounting" icon above


5. To get list of sales documents , Click "Billing Document" icon above

SAP VF04 Process Billing Due List

SAP VF04 Process Billing Due List

Procedure to check why an invoice has not been raised.
(Check Status of Invoice)

1. Go to SAP Tcode VF04
or
Logistics -> Sales and Distribution -> Billing -> Billing Document -> Process Billing Due List


2. Click the left side box of the raw you want to process


3. The selected raw will be highlighted.


4. Click "Environment" -> "Original Document"


5. Click the magnifier icon below


or path "Environment" -> "Display Document Flow"
to check if the billing document needs to be raised.


6. If this is so, Contact the person who created Sales order.

SAP VF01 Create Billing Document

SAP VF01 Create Billing Document ( Sales Invoice)

1. To Create a billing document directly after creating a sales order (VA01)
Click Sales Document -> Billing


2. To Create a billing document at a later stage
- Go to SAP Tcode VF01
or Logistics -> Sales and Distribution -> Billing -> Billing Document -> Create


3. Enter document number you want to create a billing documents.

The last Sales Order number you created will be defaulted into the Document field.
Please be careful to ensure Sales Order number is inserted in this field when create a Billing Document.

SAP VA05 Display Sales Orders

SAP VA05 display all Sales Orders relating to a particular customer or material
1. Go to Tcode VA05
or
Logistics -> Sales and Distribution -> Sales
-> Information System -> Orders
-> List of Sales Order

2. Click "further sel. criteria"
3. Choose fields


4. Enter Selection requirements
5. Save
6. Click Customer name (Sold to party) or Material code,
which Sales order you wish to display.
7. Click "Enter" Icon, the list of Sales Order will be displayed. .

SAP Create One time Customer

SAP Create One time customer

A one time customer can be created using the standard account group that exists for a 'One Time Customer' in SAP .
One time Customer Account group will be having its own mandatory fields such as Addresses and bank details that are required for a single transaction.

The following is the steps:
SPRO-->Financial Accounting
-->Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables
-->Customer Accounts-->Master Data
-->Preparations for creating Customer Master Data
-->Click Define Account Groups with Screen Layout
-->Click New Entries -->Check the field One time Account

1. Go to Tcode VA03

or Logistics ->Sales and Distribution -> Sales -> Order -> Display
2. Enter the sales order number

4. Click "Display Document' button on the line you want to display.

SAP FI Create a New Company

To Create a new company on a blank SAP installation in FI.

If the company was already set up and the company numeric codes already created and you may just copy an existing company code to copy an existing company code using transaction EC01.

But if you want to create and setup a new company from scratch from a 'blank sheet' in SAP R/3 and then create the first set of Books.

Go to Tcode OX02
or

SPRO -> Enterprise structure -> Definition -> Financial Accounting -> Edit, copy, delete company code.

2. Executing using SAP Tcode F.14

3. Message 'session SAPF120 created' is appeared

4. Go to Tcode SM35

or

from the menu select : System -> services -> Batch input sessions

5. Select your session SAPF120

6. Select process button

7. Click "display error" radio button

8. Select "process" button

9. Exit batch input session.

10. Now the posting can be seen in Tcode FAGLB03 or FB03

2. Enter New Role Name you want to create
3. Click "Role " button
4. Describe the Role in "Description" field

5. Click "Menu" tab


6. Click "Transaction" button to add Tcode

9. Click "pencil" button to change authorization
10. Put "Org element value"
11. Save

12. Fill in the missing authorization


13. If We wish to give full authorization to this role , Hit the "check" button
